Friday, 29 April 2011Stressed? Not anymore. On April 26, 2011, we presented our “Coping with Stress and Depression” webinar to viewers from all across the country. Jon Mattleman and Families for Depression Awareness president, Julie Totten, talked about stress, anxiety, depressive disorders and ways to cope with each. Over 300 people registered for the event, and 85% of survey respondents rated the webinar as “good” or “excellent.” 96% said they would recommend the webinar to a friend or family member.
“The webinar showed me that I need to be more assertive regarding my own mental health issues. I may need to go back into counseling.”—Julie, MD
“It was a pertinent reminder to address this area with clients and make it part of their treatment plan.”—Joseph, mental health clinician, MA
“It helped me realize the impact that stress can play in our everyday lives and general health. My husband has just been rediagnosed from major depression to bipolar disorder. The webinar info gave me a clearer understanding of how to deal with him and our family. Above all, it gave me hope that as a family, we could work these things out and live happy lives again.”—Andrea, CT
We are thrilled that we had such an impact on listeners. Stay tuned for other upcoming webinars!
