Families for Depression Awareness is looking for a temporary, part-time Outreach Coordinator to promote our Teen Depression and Coping with Stress and Depression programs and to maintain our social media channels. Families for Depression Awareness (FFDA) is a nonprofit organization that helps families recognize and cope with depressive disorders to get people well and prevent suicides. We do this through education, training, and support.
Position Summary
The Outreach Coordinator supports the Teen Depression and Adult/Workplace Depression programs by identifying and initiating contact with relevant organizations and individuals to cultivate interest in and promotion of our webinars and workshops; assists with scheduling and logistics for webinars and workshops; and develops and posts content on FFDA’s social media sites. The Outreach Coordinator is a high-energy self-starter who communicates easily with others and is able to pick up the phone and talk to people. Excellent interpersonal, communications, and organizational skills are essential.
