Teen depression was the topic of the show, so Olivia was interviewed about her experiences. Ellen added her thoughts on being the parent of a teen with a mood disorder. Olivia and Ellen were joined by two expert clinicians, Louis J. Papa, MD, FACP, and Jeff Prince, MD, who addressed topics such as recognizing teen depression, the prescription of off-label medications to teens, and the debate over holistic treatment.

Second Opinion is a national public television series that airs on more than 300 PBS stations nationwide. Each episode features an on-camera team of physicians and patients to provide viewers with a discussion that goes beyond the typical 30-second sound bite. More than one million viewers tune in to Second Opinion each week!
